Warmer weather means more parasites, especially fleas! And, despite good, veterinary approved products, some pets are still subjected to these nasty bugs! What can we do to stop the infestation? Fleas are truly a pet owner’s curse and worst nightmare. Designed to survive and efficient at reproducing, these blood-sucking pests can quickly overrun house and home! In addition to causing misery for our pets, fleas have the potential to carry serious, even deadly diseases. In order to defeat this enemy, we need to understand their life cycle and dispel persistent myths that lead to ineffective flea control. For every adult flea seen on a dog or cat, there are about 95 other fleas in various life stages (eggs, larvae and pupae) around the pet’s environment. The failure to address the juvenile life stages is a primary reason why owners never seem to win any battles against fleas. People also misunderstand how adult fleas interact with pets. Is there a website that compares all the available flea/tick/heartworm products?
Im think I am going to use Frontline for fleas/ticks and then heartgard for heartworms. Does this seem effective? I live in Oklahoma (USA).
after looking at that website (health pets) I see that the Canine Advantix seems to be most effective, anybody have any experience with it?

My cat won't stop licking flea treatment?
A couple nights ago my mom applied a dose of "Sergeant’s Flea Control" onto my cats shoulder blades and not too long after we kept finding her turning her head around, licking it off.
Yesterday morning I woke up to 4 separate spots on my carpet covered in cat puke. She’s noticeably losing weight, and she keeps meowing this horrible meow… the one that sounds like crying (for a cat, at least). Her skin is twitching (though it’s done that in the past), and she just now puked again, only this time it was only a white liquid and nothing else.
My mom and I noticed her acting a bit funny before we even went to buy her flea treatment, and now we’re just confused, and really scared for her.
Not to mention, I just searched for information on this specific flea treatment brand, and people are saying it has really messed up their pets.
I’m really, really worried. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
