My husbands cat needs a therapist. The cat howls the most when my husband has just left the house or when it is my husbands bedtime (according to the cat that is). But he also howls when he is lonely, when know one in the house is making noise, when the other cat isn’t willing to play, when he is hungry, when he is bored and when he just plain wants to annoy me. Any suggestions on how to shut the cat up with out killing him would be greatly appreciated.

We just brought her home on Friday. I love my little cutie, we have a vet appointment in a few days for second boosters, I was just wondering if anyone can tell me when I should start flea prevention. Is she too young? Thanks All!

I’m fostering an adult cat in my house but I also have an adult dog. I know the adult dog doesn’t get along well with other (usually male) dogs, but he’s never been around a cat before. I want the adult dog and adult cat to get to know each other, but I don’t want them to kill each other. The adult cat is pretty tame. I led my leashed dog to him and the adult cat didn’t mind–or when he did mind, he hissed. How do I get them to get used to each other?
