Also a neat little trick i learned is to buy a flea collar and if you dont have a bag vaccum stick the flea collar in the collecting chamber and it will kill the fleas when they enter the vaccum. A good way to check if your doing a good job on killing your fleas is grab a white sock and rub it on the floor and look if their are any little black dots...those are your fleas. Now stick with revolution EVERY MONTH! or you will have this problem again! (wash all your sheets and any other washable surface) unfourtantly fleas are the bugs from hell.

I had carpeting all throughout and used a flea killing powder and vacuumed, then i had some spray and used that EVERYWHERE! Like all over the sofas, my closet, bathroom, etc. I had to wash ALL my clothes, and i'm female and have quite a bit of clothing. And good thing i did that because i found so many fleas in between clothing. This was years ago when Frontline was the thing to use so i used frontline on my cat. I was so pissed because i just had new carpeting in that place. I didnt use the Bomb because i had a friend who used that and she said it didnt work. I so know the feeling. I've used all of these in the past.
