I was unsuccessful in getting rid of the fleas my cat and dog had on my own. I went to the vet and bought one of their treatments. They gave me advantage for both of them. It’s the kind you squeeze on their skin right behind their heads. I did this at about 1pm today. I’m still noticing a little scratching from both of them. How long should this treatment take to kill the fleas? And if this doesn’t work what should my next step be?
PS I did treat my house so they shouldn’t be getting reinfected from the furniture or anything.

My mother only has advantage flea prevention and treatment for cats and rabbits. My daughter is covered in flea bites. The shops are closed. Can we use the one we have on the dog-who really is the size of a cat.

is there a time period when i should give the advantage after giving her the flea bath

I applied advantage on my 15 lbs cat, and this time it didnt work. I just looked in his fur and found a huge live flea. This thing was a monster, not a baby flea. The advantage was put on 2 weeks ago. My cats badly allergic to fleas.

Should I give him another dose?
