Dr. Kevin R. Kazacos, DVM, Ph.D., an expert in parasites at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, warns that fleas, ticks and other external parasites are best prevented. Once you let fleas into your home, youll need the help of an exterminator to get rid of them, and ticks a common disease vectors. Preventative treatments for external parasites are widely available and very effective, but you should see your local veterinarian for the best treatments for your pets.

Most cats avoid strangers and aren’t much of lap cats, one of those cats is my favorite Egyptian Mau.
The only cat i know to be very social, loving and loyal is the Savannah but its illegal in NYC.
So what cat breed is warm, isn’t afraid of much things, playful, loyal and is a lap cat and doesn’t hide or hiss at strangers and other animals.
I am getting a kitten in a few months, but I want one that won’t be miserable with my other animals. I have a hyper Sheltie dog, and a Calico x Tabby cat (she’s smaller). I’d like a cat (preferably male, and that makes a bit of a difference because some males don’t get along well with other cats) that can get along well with other animals, one that won’t mind a hyper dog or another cat. Any suggestions? Thank you in advanced.
I used Advantage on all of the animals about a week ago, however I dont think it worked that well. They are scratching still ( not as bad ) and one of my Day Care kids was sent home from school today because of flea bites! Just want to know if I re-treat my house is it safe to dip them since they just had Advantage?
I have already treated my house twice! And I no longer have the Advantage box.
