We are having a hard time getting rid of fleas, we are doing flea baths and drops BUT still cant get rid of the pesky critters. We are using frontline.

Ive heard of a tablet/capsule that works as a repellent, can anybody shed light on this. What the compound is generic brands etc. Also we are spraying the outside area too but perhaps the product we are using isn’t strong enough. Can anybody suggest the best and most economical way to rid the problem?

Thanks in advance.

I have 2 cats, and we just discovered flea‘s. Baths are very hard (as they are cats). I like Advantage and have used it with other cats, but I’m concerned with the possibiltiy of the cats licking each other.

If I apply it, do I need to keep the cats seperated? If so, how long?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

What are alternatives to a flea bath for cats?

I have 3 adult cats and we moved into a new apartment and now they have fleas. I tried to flea bath one of them and he freaked. What are some alternatives to flea baths? I’m having my landlord treat my apartment.

I need some suggestions for which flea and heartworm preventatives to use for my 6 month old puppy. She currently has a lot of fleas. She has had two baths with gentle flea shampoo as well as a topical flea treatment administered by the vet(Frontline or something similar). Anyway, I need a good, powerful flea treatment and also suggestions for which heartworm preventative to use. My dog is 6 months old, a lab mix and currently weighs about 22 pounds. Thanks!

Flea and Tick products killing your pets?

This was on the nees last night that frontline and other flea and tick products are either killing or harming our pets.I for one had all my dogs come down with an allergic reaction years ago and they all had to go in for Benedryl shots and baths..I want to know if anyone on here has lost their pets to these products and do you plan on using them after this news story came out yesterday..I know I have heard in the past a few cases but this is the largest I’ve heard to make it nationwide by the EPA.
Legit..So my question is do you use these products and if after reading this are you going to continue.?? I personally use Avons skin so soft mixed with water and spray daily on my dogs..
