My cat just gave birth 2 days ago. About 2 weeks ago I took her collar off and was afraid to use any flea treatments in fear of the chemicals harming the kittens. I noticed yesterday that her kittens had fleas too!!!! I couldn’t believe it! I want to treat them asap, but I really don’t know what the best method would be, and when I could w/out harming them? I have 1 week old kittens, how soon can i worm them? Momma cat had them in a dog house she sleeps in, have seen a couple of fleas on them. The spot where they were born has been cleaned. How soon can i put a little flea powder on them?
My cat was a stray for 3 years of her life and doesn’t like other cats. Now she is 10 and we just got three new kittens. When we bring them near she will hiss at them, what should I do? I keep the kittens separate from her and I knew she didn’t like other cats before I got them, but an organization needed me to foster for them so I said yes. Right now they are kept in a small room, but are growing fast they will need more space, but my cat won’t let us. Please help.
What would happen if I left her alone with them? She barley gets to see them because she will hiss and walk away, How will she get used to them???
My cats are all different sizes- the smallest is about 2lbs and the largest is about 20lbs. We tried Frontline but it only reduced the fleas for about a week. And, yes, I know how to vacuum and wash everything, and we have been flea combing them every other day. What can I get online or in the store without seeing the vet? We already have a lot of vet bills!
