I just discovered my two indoor cats have fleas. I can’t figure out how they got them, but now have to figure out how to get rid of them. Is Program worth its cost or is there a better product? Also, any advice on how to get rid of fleas for good?

I have run in to people with pets that have suffered hair loss, ulcers, and some people suspect seizures related to spot applications. Are these products safe,is this related to recent pet product disasters, the product that was responsible came from France( Frontline)
Just to let you know I’m referring to dogs,2 black labs one mixed breed That have had a reaction.I have indoor cats and as long as my dog stays with out fleas I wont use anything on my cats.I have heard Labs tend to have skin problems more than average since I posted this .Does any one Think this is the case?

One dog and two cats = flea treatment?

I have a 6 month old pup that goes in and out, so she is on flea and heartworm meds. But my two indoor cats haven’t been treated with flea meds because they’ve always been indoors and I haven’t had flea problems. Do I need to treat them now as well??

I have two indoor cats and a dog. Is it OK for me to use Revolution on the dog and not worry about the cats? The cats will not lick the dog and would run away from him whenever possible. However, the dog will lick the cat when he gets the chance to. I have heard that topical cat flea treatments for cats might be poisonous to dogs. Which ones though? Also, can cats use Program in conjunction with Advantage?
