Sentinel says it protects against flea, tick, and heartworm. It is a pill they chew up and take with a meal. Does she also need a topical flea medication?

I am ready to purchase heartworm and flea and tick medication for the next 6 months for my dogs. I have a maltese and a yorkie. I read that sentinel is good, but I am wondering if I will need topical medications for flea and tick on top of that. I have been using heartgard and K9 Advantix, but the sentinel are smaller tablets so its easier for them to take.

All of my cats have developed terrible flea infestations. My male cat was neutered ten days ago, and i’ve read that you can give them baths ater 7 days. When can I give him a flea bath? and when can I put a flea collar on him also?
Don’t tell me to ask my vet, get medication or any of that buisness. Answer what I asked.

I use Revolution brand flea and tick medication for my chihuahua and 2 indoor/outdoor cats once a month. Is it important to use them all year long? My vet mentioned something about it being optional to use it through the winter because it isn’t flea and tick season anymore. Thoughts? This medication is expensive so I am considering only doing it certain months. I live in Michigan if that changes anything.

What is a good flea medication for dogs?

I have two dachshunds who are just over a year old. I have seen them scratching and saw a flea on one of them.

What is a good medication to kill and prevent fleas on my dogs?
Is this something I can buy in a store?

Thanks for any helpful advice!
