I just put advantage flea medicine on my puppy and it dried within a few minutes. Did it come off or is it supposed to do this?
Some said there is a greasy look, but he’s black so I can’t tell. =/

The monthly flea & tick medicine is a common kind, prescribed by the vet, that comes as a liquid in something resembling an eyedropper that you put on the dog’s skin, between the shoulder blades. It’s supposed to absorb into the skin and protect from fleas and ticks. I’m worried that if I give her a bath, it will wash the medicine out of her skin. After applying the medicine, how long should I wait before giving her a bath?

We have numerous pets and our ferrets have fleas horrible, we were wondering if there was any at home fixes for tonight until we can get to a Vets office to pick up some flea medicine?!?!

On a recent road trip I heard an ad on the radio or tv, not sure which one, that was speaking of a new flea medicine that was supposed to be an alternative to Frontline. I thought I had remembered the name of it, but I cannot find anything on the internet about it. I believe the name of the medicine started with a "P". Does anyone know the product name of this flea treatment or anything about it?

My local neuter commuter said that I needed to check my cat to make sure she has no fleas or ticks before her surgery. Of course, I found a flea.

Is it safe to give her any over-the-counter flea medicine right before her surgery?

It took 3 months or more for me to get this appointment… I do not want to wait for another one…
By the way, her appointment is in 9 hours…
