I have an older cat along with two kittens who everyday will lick and clean each other. I’m about to put advantage flea medication on all of them but how can I prevent them from cleaning each other while they have this flea medicine on them? Or is there another way I should go about this?

I’ve had my oldest cat for about 9 months, and ever since I got him, he’s had fleas. I’ve tried the back of the neck medicine, but it didn’t work. I got a new kitten the other day, and when I brought her home, she didn’t have fleas and now she does. I need a cheap flea medicine because I can’t afford Frontline or Advantage. Does anyone know a good OTC flea treatment or at least something under 50 dollars?

I unfortunately gave my cat a dose of dog flea treatment. It wasn’t in the box and I didn’t read the label. After I realized what it was, I found another box of dog flea medicine and read the warning. I tried to wipe it off and thought he was fine. I woke up 2 hours ago to him falling down the stairs. He is shaking uncontrollably. I gave him a bath in Dawn dish soap, like the emergency vet said, buy he is still shaking. My vets office doesn’t open for another 4 hours. Is there anything I can do?
