After using the sprays, collars, drops, powders, and washing them with shampoo the fleas show back up within a week. Yes we have washed everything that can be washed in hot water, have used different sprays on the furniture and rugs, vacuumed and washed floors yet we still end up with fleas. Our pets do not go outside. We have put the fleas in a glass of flea spray and all they do is paddle around and eventually they drown but are not killed by the sprays. Is there a product that works to kill the fleas and the eggs?

A flea comb will only work so well and all the flea shampoos are only safe for kittens 12 weeks and older. I heard that rubbing alcohol kills fleas, and I’ve been flicking the fleas that I find with the comb into a small cup of rubbing alcohol and the fleas die within seconds, but can I use the rubbing alcohol on the kittens fur? Or is there actually a de-fleaing shampoo in existence that is safe for younger kittens?

My "man eaters" have fleas and so I bathed them in Hartz flea and tick shampoo and then used the Zodiac flea drops, should that kill all of the fleas?

my little mini. poodle has fleas.
I bought zodiac, will return tomorrow because I guess people said the brand was bad. I might go to petsmart and petco tomorrow, but im not sure which brand of shampoo to buy. I had Scratchex before, from someone else who gave them to us, but I dont know where to get scratchex (where DO YOU?) because it wasnt online on either of the stores. So please suggest a brand and whyyy.
And I hear that Frontline and Advantage is the best. What other brands? And … are the prices on Petco.com for advantage and frontline expensive compared to prices you can get at the vet with?
Most info, best answer!
I want an opinion answer, and personal, not ones copied from the net.
And what brands NOT to use?
