Im think I am going to use Frontline for fleas/ticks and then heartgard for heartworms. Does this seem effective? I live in Oklahoma (USA).
after looking at that website (health pets) I see that the Canine Advantix seems to be most effective, anybody have any experience with it?

Right now, my two cats (indoor/outdoor, but are indoor most of the time) use Revolution. It’s SO expensive. Does anyone have any experience with Frontline or any of the other ones out there? Do any of the other prescription ones protect against the same things as Revolution does (ticks, heartworms, etc.) or do they treat fleas only? What do you use on your cat(s) and would you recommend it strongly?

i have a 4 or 5 year old gray tiger cat. he’s been nutured. i have used bio-spot on him for flea prevention a couple of times, but it seems to make him sick and he looses hair at the site of application.i’m never using that one again.i’d like to know, do i have to use flea treatment on my cat at all? he’s been indoors all his life so far. we live in an apartment. there are no other animals.i dont see any fleas or ticks on his hair or skin. so is it allright just not to give him a flea treatment? if not, whats the most effective and above all, the least expensive one(i’m broke)? thanks so much for all answers.
